Jo was a very dedicated officer of Christ the King Branch of Saint Joseph’s Young Priests Society for many years. She promoted the work of the Society at every opportunity. She was always a kind and gentle lady who will be missed by all who knew her. May she be rewarded for her goodness. Rest in peace Jo.

Jo was an excellent Secretary of the Christ the King Branch, Turners Cross for a great number of years. Her hand writing and her minutes were of an excellent standard. She was very committed to the Society, the Priesthood and to the Church. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace and be rewarded for her good work.

Rest in peace dear cousin Josie. So fortunate to have met you while on a visit to Ireland while attending the Curtin Clan Gathering many years ago. I enjoyed our telephone calls and will miss them. I had shared this prayer with you after the passing of your sister Maura.

I am in Heaven dear ones, oh so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over; every restless tossing passed; Josie is now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last.

My sincere sympathy to all of Josie’s friends and neighbors who were so kind to her. She will be missed.

R.I.P Josephine

Joe always sat at the side door and had a lovely smile for all who entered Turners Cross church. Her smile will be missed by all of us. We will remember Joe in our prayers. Rest in peace with the Lord, his mother and all the saints.

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Jo McCarthy when Turner's Cross Church weekly Lotto started.. lasting friendships were made over this worthy cause... Joe was such a gentle soul .. May she rest in peace now.

So sorry to learn of Jo's passing, it really is the end of an era. Jo was a great friend to my parents, so kind and thoughtful. She will be sadly missed, but no doubt has gone to her just and well deserved reward. In sympathy, remembered with much love, the extended Kelleher and McNamara Families.

Dear josephine was a lovely lady, who always had time to stop and ask about the family. She loved going to Passage on the bus in the afternoons ..Her God ,her faith and the mass were very special to her as well as her community in Turners cross.She has gone to meet all those who went before her. .Im sure they will have a banquet waiting for her.The light of Heaven to you josephine ,rest in peace.
