Josephine and I became friends 12 years ago through work. She was an incredible friend. She was kind, loyal, a straight-talker, an independent thinker and so very gentle.
We spent so many brilliant days together. She wore purple every chance she got, ordered her tea with the tea bag on the side and knew the name of every plant in the garden centre. She was a whizz at crosswords, quiz shows and so very curious.
In the last year, she was brave and faced difficult decisions head on, she directed her care right to the end. I was in constant awe of her strength and her heart....both were immeasurable.
I will miss her and my heart is with you all as you navigate life without her.
