We were very sad to hear of Josephine's passing. We were neighbours when she lived in Fairhill. I used to meet her at Mass in the Jesuit church more recently. She always had a lovely smile and a happy greeting, a lovely lady. May she rest in peace, Condolences to the family..

So sad to hear of Josephine's passing. I've known her since I grew up in Beattystown, just two doors from the Curran's. I rarely missed meeting Josephine, when visiting Galway and walking up town. We were both happy to see each other and chat a while about each other's families in Galway, England, USA and what all of the younger generations were up to. Her smiling face and warm personality made every encounter unforgettable, may she rest in Peace! My condolences to the extended Curran Family!. .

We are so sorry to hear about Josephine's passing and that we missed the chance to pay our respects. We have lovely memories of happy days in New St West, Josephine taking baby Orla out in her buggy for walks, special days. It was our pleasure and privilege to know such a wonderful lady. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Josephine's family. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. While I did not know Josephine that well, I would meet her at mass in the Jes Church every Sunday morning. Josephine was always very kind to me and to others.

The crack we used to have in Farragher's and at the lunch club over the years.

I recall, a few years ago, I met Josephine, on the Bus, going, to Henry Street.
She got up to get off, but the bus braked, and she f nearly ell on me, I stood up to balance her... She smiled and said," Ah Rog, Im nearly falling for ya...."
