I’m so sorry to hear your Mom passed away. She was a wonderful lady. Always so welcoming and kind. As a messed up teen, she provided a safe and supportive home, always a good laugh, and always had the best advice. I’m forever grateful. She was like a second mother to many students, always protecting and taking their sides when there was a disciplinary matter looming! May she rest in eternal peace. Mr and Mrs Buckley were a huge support almost like my parents while I was at Shannon far away from home and family. They were the kindest, most compassionate and caring people.
I pray she has the most beautiful eternal life and may the light she was in my time around her shine on her always❤️❤️❤️❤️

Without Mrs and Mr Buckley's unconditional support, I would never be where I am today. There was not that many international students when I joined Shannon in 2000 so Drumgeely was always empty over the weekend and Mr & Mrs Buckley sometimes invited me to their place and offered me a meal, it was a soul food made me keep staying positive and happy.
Whenever I felt down, your door was always open and that cup of tea and those Assorted Jam Tarts... I will never forget.

My sincere condolences to Denis, Michael,family and friends. I have such fond memories of Josie and her late husband Michael. As childhood friends with Denis, they were always so welcoming, and took such great time and care with all who came to their home.
