My deepest sympathies to the family. Josie was such a beautiful loving cheerful woman. I have many fond memories, like when as teenagers coming back to the family home at night after a dance at the club, Josie would have left a huge plate of turkey, ham sandwiches, and flasks with tea. A wonderful lady. May she rest in peace. Always in my prayers.

My condolences to Raphael and the Smyth family on Josie's passing. I have a nice memory of meeting Josie when calling down for Raphael. We were talking about the USPGA but Josie hadn't seen any of it as she didn't have SKY. I told her that BBC Radio 5 were covering it and tuned in the radio for her. The next time I called down she thanked me profusely and said that she could visualize every shot and it was a great night's entertainment for her. RIP Josie.
