It was a pleasure to meet Joy (& Barbara) in my home some years ago when the family connection to my father-in-law Gerry was first discovered.
Joy was a remarkable lady, may she rest in peace.
I remember Joy from Dockrells of George’s Street in the early 70’s when we worked together. A lovely lady. May she rest in peace.
It was sad to learn about Joy's passing. I have many happy memories of her from St. Mary's. My deepest sympathy to Joy's relatives and friends. At Home with Jesus.
Deepest sympathy & condolences to joys church family who meant so much to joy. It has been my pleasure to care for joy for all of these years. She will be greatly missed, May she rest in Internal peace.

Celine Manor Homecare.
Treasured memories of a wonderful organist and pianist. We knew Joy very well during the 1990s when we were parishioners of St Mary's and very much enjoyed her playing for church services and for the Musical Society, as well as her wry sense of humour and no nonsense approach. We dearly hope that she has been reunited with former choir members, (our mother included), in the great heavenly choir. May Joy rest in peace and rise in glory.

''Angel voices ever singing"
Deepest sympathy to Joys extended family and her Church family who meant the world to her. As a long time neighbour of Joys, I am remembering her with great affection. I always enjoyed our chats and Joys great sense of humour and directness.
Many will have very happy memories of Joy and of the great example that she was to us all. Among other things:-
Faithfully playing the church organ and training the choir for many years.
As accompanist for "The Musical" (Society) productions.
Organising "mystery tour" outings.
Rest in peace, Joy, your work was well done!
It was a shock to learn that Joy had passed away so suddenly. We send our condolences to all Joy’s family and friends. I will miss our weekly chats, watching Bargain Hunt, reviewing Strictly Come Dancing and of course the RTE Sunday services! It would be nice to think Joy was playing ‘Angel Voices’ for that Heavenly Choir just one last time.
