Dearest Anne,
I am so sorry to hear Carlos had left.
I have heard a lot about him from you and I like him. I still remember that I sat next to him at Hymn’s retirement party and we together made a contribution to cultural diversity. He was a nice and optimistic person who loved life so much. I pray that he can happily continue his further study in the heaven and watching us there. I think he knows he will never be alone with all our love.

Juan Carlos was my very close friend from high school. This has been so painful for me. He helped me a lot during hard times.... We spent together the millenium change... New Year's eve 1999. I would never forget him. And I would remember him all my life. All the conversations we had together, from political to musical. I was really expecting we were going to meet again, someday.... So long, man!.....

I was so sorry to hear of Carlos’s passing. It was not time. I was only saying to him how good he looked the week before his operation. Carlos and myself had some good discussions in the car park of Morrisons House and some good laughs. He was a straight talker and very caring. I couldn’t put a foot wrong or I would get the words “You know what we do to people in Colombia”.
He will be greatly missed by myself and Morrisons House.
