So sad to hear of Judy's passing. I worked with Judy in IPAS (formerly RIA) and she was invariably warm and fun while working so diligently to ensure the children in the asylum process were given a place in school. Such an amazing lady. My heartfelt condolences to Judy's family and friends.

Shocked and saddened by the news of Judys passing. My sincere condolences to her family. I had the pleasure of working with her - a beautiful soul inside and out. She will be dearly missed by all.

I just heard the sad news today about Judy’s passing. Condolences to Peter, Rebecca, Eleanor and all the Kane family.
I have so many treasured childhood memories of our time together Judy. I loved all of the Kane Family and spent so much time at your houses in Larkhill and Gracepark with Judy’s lovely parents and sisters.
She was my bridesmaid at my wedding back in 1984…….. we shared so many special moments together.
You will be always be in those special memories Judy. Rest in peace beautiful soul.

I was shocked when I learned of Judy's untimely passing. My deepest condolences to Peter, Rebecca, Eleanor and Peter Jr.
I worked with her for many years in RIA. As others have said, she was a great colleague and a powerhouse of energy. There are many asylum seeker and refugee children who owe Judy a debt of gratitude for the enormous efforts she went to to ensure they all had a place in school.
When she spoke of her family, you could see she could hardly contain her pride in everything they did. Judy's illness was a crushing blow and I am so sorry she had such a short time in her retirement.

She really was such a lovely lady, so kind, sincere and had a ‘can do’ attitude. I worked in Balseskin and our paths crossed so many times, she had so much time for everyone. There are people in life that leave a lasting effect on you, and Judy was one. Such a kind manner through work but also on a personal level.

I got to love her over the past few months and it is a real grief to me that we have lost her. I was even hoping to see her back last Wednesday evening and only heard on Friday of her passing.

My family and Judy’s family lived right next door to each other in Whitehall for many years before Judy’s family moved to Grace Park Heights. Over the years, I used to meet Mrs Kane – who later as our ages merged asked me to call her Anne – and she would update me on all the family. I had the pleasure of chatting regularly to Anne in Nazareth House when I was visiting my aunt there and it was really nice to get to meet Judy again when she was visiting her mother.
