Our late daughter Anne Marie O.Connor R.I.P. worked in the Manor and had many happy years there.While she enjoyed working in the Hotel, she also had marvellous days babysitting Mrs.Kane's beloved grandchildren. Tom, as you well know I never worked at Adare Manor, but was there aplenty with Len Dinneen, on the social circuit and very much on the golf front. We were privileged to have played at the opening of the 'first nine,' then the 'back nine' and then the 'championship 18,' and thus you, Judy and Robert (Trent Jones) put in train what will happen in Adare in 2027 with its staging of the Ryder Cup.
You and Judy never tired of enthusiasm for all of Adare (especially those hurling days out at the Gaelic Grounds), Operation Smile, Vietnam War colleagues etc, and I personally enjoyed both of your company, more often than not near the piano of The Tack Room, an interesting element of lovely five-star Adare Manor.
Thinking of you at the outset of 2022, and thanks for everything! Those were lovely days.....

Sincere sympathies to Tom, Teri, Tommy, Linda, Diane Gerard and Daria, grandchildren & great-granddaughter on the passing of Judy.

Judy & Tom did so much for the people of Adare. I have fond memories of the Music Festivals, Judy was so glamorous and larger than life. So supportive of our local Scout troop. They gifted us camping equipment in return for manning fire doors & selling programmes during world class performances including the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. They were the best summers of our youth.

They introduced us to thanksgiving & I’ve yet to see someone who could dress a Christmas tree more impressively than Judy.

They provided employment for countless families locally & in the wider region. They put the 5 star Adare manor on the world stage & brought the Irish open to our village.

The 25 acres gifted to the people of Adare - now the manor fields complex & playground. A precious resource that has and will serve the community for generations to come.
