My heart is sad today. Of all the people I ever met in my life, no one ever influenced me more or was more highly regarded by me. Her outstanding selflessness as the founder and captain of Longford Girl Guides and commissioner in Irish Girl Guides will never be seen again. Rest in peace, Mrs Pearse, with all those you love and who went before you to prepare a special place for you at that final campfire. Vanessa, Shauna, Fiona, Perrin and Garrett, I sent you my heartfelt condolences. May your mother's special soul now rest in peace! Her work is done.

Everyone who knew Judy knows how sad it is that she is no longer gracing this world with her extraordinary charisma and vibrant spirit. I shall cherish our memories as a truly wonderful neighbour and good friend for over 20 years in Delgany.
Judy will be deeply missed. Although her song may have ended but her memory will linger on.
