Jules (Julie) Wells

I worked with Julie in the aftercare team in Limerick some years ago and had some good nights in Feakle! I moved to back to Yorkshire years ago and we lost touch but some ex colleagues from Ireland and Germany ha e let me know of her passing. My love and thoughts to FInn, Saffey and families who she spoke about with me. Much love. Sally

A most beautiful celebration of Jules’ life today that I feel blessed to have been a part of remotely.

Jules was a good friend and colleague of mine and will always hold a special place in my heart – her strength of character was beyond measure. She may not have had a long life, but she sure had a depth of life.

I am sorry not to be with you for the funeral but will be following online and send my heartfelt condolences to Fin, Saffey and Markwin and family. Also to Jill, of course. Julie was a strong presence in my life since meeting her on the same day I properly met Lynne, coming and going a little and sadly not so much over recent years. I was so glad to meet up in Bath not long after her diagnosis and to have spoken since. Happy memories will last forever of time spent together with you all in Devon and in Ireland. She lived life passionately and will be missed.

Such a passionate heart gone too early from this world. And a formidable friend to my dear sister Lynne.

We remember Jules as full of fun and the life and soul of the party. My strongest memory of her is when she did a bungee jump in Amsterdam for her 40th birthday. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. She will be sadly missed and our heart goes out to Saffey, Fin and all her family.
