Sad news on the passing of lovely Julie. She was a great mother and nanny and always smiling and cheerful whenever we'd meet. She has gone ahead to her just reward and will always look down and continue caring for her family. May she rest in peace amen. Condolences to all her family but she will always be in your hearts.

Ashling what beautiful words and memories you wrote about your Nanny Julie. She must be beaming down from heaven, saying that's my Ash. She is the proudest nanny in heaven today knowing that she had the best of the best in all her grandchildren and great grandchildren also. Each of you have made her the proudest Nanny in heaven today, can just imagine her around the table in heaven telling her stories about all of you to her own family members , parents, sister's and brother, that would be some banter. The proudest Nanny in heaven. Always remember Julie will always be with you deep within your heart, that is were the memories are and nothing can take them away, not even death... she will always live on in your heart .

My nanny was a diamond, one in a million!
My rock, best friend and especially my nanny!
Always made me laugh, smile and wiped the tears if I cried!
Nothing in the world could beat a nanny’s hug!!!!
My nanny fought so hard till the end, the strong Cork woman that she was!Because of having her love and guidance she made me the person who I am today!
I thank her for that more than words can say!

From her sitting on her chair shouting for a cup of tea, to Snapchat bants, to funny memories!
If anyone knew my nanny she had a dirty mind and she said the funniest things!
From singing in the kitchen together or shouting out answers watching the chase, she loved her soaps but not as much as her cup of tea!My nanny was so special to me!I will miss her more than anything but i love her so much I will carry her memory!
From stories of her childhood, she told me so many!!I will keep them safe and tell so many!

Danielle what a beautiful tribute you wrote about your Grandmother Julie, you described her just like I remember her. A wonderful woman, she is now looking down on all of you from her heavenly home, smiling and looking after each one of you all. Go rest high now Aunty's Julie on heaven's mountain were your work on earth is down, Go to heaven showing victory , you have now reached your destination , your with your love ones who have been waiting a very long time to see you at heaven's gate, your parents, sister's , brother and husband. My Nanny- One of the greats!

She could be found making a cup of tea
Or telling a dirty story while smiling with glee!

You see my nanny really was one of a kind ,
Sometimes she’d pretend she’d lost her mind

She had a joke. Or two or three
And she would bring you on a trip down memory lane for absolutely free

My nanny had the biggest heart of gold and I know that was the key to never getting old

Julie was some woman for one woman, truly!

She gave up her life, her love and her hold - in order for her kids and I to be the best story ever to be told.

My nanny made sure we had it all, and picked us up each time we’d fall.

Forever grateful I will be, and I’ll always hold closely the memories of my nanny and me.
