I held Julia's hand many a time when she was in Ashley Lodge. My dad Michael is a resident there so I was able to have small chats with Julia. It would have been lovely to know her more.
My condolences to all who loved her and will miss her.

P.S. I think some of Julia's family live in Palmerstown and know my in laws, John and Lucy Scullin. As well as that I'm also from Laois. It's a small world.
