Saddened to hear of Mrs Newman’s passing, she taught me from 1990 to 1995 in Boyle, I used to look forward to her classes, she was definitely my favourite teacher, she was witty, kind and a wonderful teacher.... RIP Mrs Newman

Julie was my teacher for 5 years in the Convent Of Mercy Boyle. I was very fond of her. She was always very interested in all her pupils and gave us great guidance when needed. I was very shocked to her of her passing. May she rest in peace.

Sad to loose your mum and in a short time many a ltlle chat we had when Christy passed on our little chats at super vaul we will all miss her x XxXxxxx

Miss Breslin taught me for five years, she was a fantastic teacher ,kept her classes interesting ,she had the future of her students at heart ,i am so sorry that she has been taken from her family at an early age ,as a teacher i will never forget her kindness and quirky sense of humour

Have just heard about Julie's death. Deepest sympathies to her family. We sat beside each other for five years in the Presentation Convent, Tuam. Have very fond memories of that time and also our years in UCG. She was kindness personified.

Was very sad to hear of Mrs. Newman's passing, I have such wonderful memories of being taught by her, in Boyle, a lovely caring lady, rest in peace.

So sad to hear of the passing of Mrs Newman. I had her as a teacher from 1st year up to leaving cert in abbey community college. She was a true lady and one of my favourite teachers. My sincere sympathies to all of her family and friends. Vicki

Saddened to hear of ‘Miss Newmans’ passing, RIP. Was a wonder Irish and French teacher! Have fond memories of her from Scoil Criost An Ri in the early 80’s. Condolences to all the Newman family.
