I enjoyed meeting June when she visited my grandmother in the states, and again when I stayed with Alison in 2001 and got to meet all of my Irish cousins. My condolences to Alison, David, and the rest of the family.

David and Alison, so sorry to hear your Mum passed away. It wasn’t that long ago I was talking to my Mum about her. I have such fond
memories of her, her lovely smile, always so cheerful. I still remember her showing me how to use a pay phone on the bridge. It was for a brownie badge. Thinking of you. Love Jane.x

So sorry to hear of June's death. I never walked with her but met her at CHA social evenings. She was a charming lady.

Such a warm, thoughtful service for Auntie June. She gave us all so much love and wonderful memories to always cherish. We will miss you Auntie June , thank you for all the kindness and love.

I was pleased to be able to listen to my cousin June's funeral service this morning . She was a very positive and kindly person who played a big part in the life of St Pauls Parish where many years ago her father-in-law was Rector at the same time as my father was Rector of Christ Church Dun Laoghaire.

It is with great sadness I learnt of Junes passing. I have fond memories of her warmth and great hospitality. I know she will be greatly missed.
Unfortunately I learnt the news too late to attend her funeral but will follow on line. May she rest in well earned peace.

My sincere sympathy to David and Allison on the death of your dear mother, June. My memories of June take me to the early days of Dun Laoghaire Choral Society which I had just founded in 1981/82. June volunteered to be the Society's first Secretary - a most challenging role. She was the sweetest and kindest person imaginable - always patient and charming and good humoured in spite of all the choir's start-up issues and pressures. Our first concert in May '82 was very successful and June deserves a great deal credit for that. June remained a very popular and devoted choir member for many many years. May she rest in peace.

So sad to hear of June’s passing. She was a great and kind neighbour, and we were all so fond of her. The gardening advice she gave over the wall, and her thoughtful gifts at various times as the children were growing up. Always interested in their well-being.. We will miss her.
