Our mother, Kathleen English, worked for June & Rodney for many years when they lived in Killiney & in ways she became a part of the family, She especially had great affection for the two kids, as they were then. They called her "She She" for reasons we never fully understood!

Later on, when Kathleen finally retired, June often called to visit her in Eden Terrace. She was very kind & thoughtful in that way, though there was a strong suspicion that the two ladies would use these visits to smoke a couple of Consulate cigarettes over a cup of tea, as they probably had done in the Killiney days!

To Rodney, Simon & Edwina we offer our deepest sympathies on June's passing - it's a very tough time for you all, but we have no doubt that you have lots of lovely memories of June down the years. Mind yourselves.
