Very sorry to hear of Justin’s passing. I worked closely with Justin on many matters during my time with Martin E Marren, particularly after Colm Allen took silk. Both taken away too soon. Justin was a wonderful colleague and a pleasure to deal with.
I am very sad to hear of Justin’s departure from this life. During many years in Brussels he was a true friend and colleague and during his bar career he was always a reliable,urbane and friendly contact. A brilliant mind, but very self-effacing. He will be greatly missed.

Deepest sympathies to the Dillon family on the untimely passing of Justin. We worked together in Anglo-Irish Division in DFA in the late 1980s. He was a key part of the team involved in the implementation of the Cross-Border Security Provisions of the Anglo Irish Agreement of 1985. May he rest in peace.
Deepest sympathies. I sat at a desk beside Justin in the law library for a number of years before his retirement a few years ago. I was very shocked and saddened to hear of his death. He was a lovely colleague and a true gentlemen. Rest in peace.

Justin was widely admired as a fine person in all aspects of life and a great colleague in DFA where I joined at a similar time in 1970s and where I worked with him on Anglo-Irish matters in late 1980s not least the Irish 1974/5 miscarriages of Justice in Britain finally brought
to rest thanks in no part to his interest, care and legal expertise. RIP at Pere Lachaise.
