My sincere sympathy to all the Fahey family on the very sad and sudden passing of Karen. May Karen's gentle soul rest in peace.

I was so shocked to hear of Karens passing. We studied together at DCU and spend many happy days on placement together at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. In more recent years we caught up in the Mater Private Hospital.
I will always remember her kindness to me during the overwhelming early days of my nursing career.
I hope that going forward I will follow Karens example and be the kind, empathetic, bright & cheerful nurse she was to all her patients.
I will continue to keep you all in my prayers during the tough days ahead Karen will never be far from my mind.
