She looked after us all, We always got the special treatment in work on Mná na hEireann day ... but the reality was, she cared for us all every day in every way. When I think of the beautiful Karen I can hear her gorgeous laugh and see her beautiful face. Karen, you were so full of craic, wisdom and kindness. Your chilled out attitude and positive vibe was infectious. Thank you for being a wonderful best friend to my mammy and for always being her sidekick through the ups and downs. Sleep peacefully. I was so saddened to learn of Karen's death. She was always such a warm- hearted and generous colleague at Gill and Macmillan. Listening to her family speak about her at her funeral yesterday brought home to me what a special and genuine person she was. Your loss is truly enormous and you have all my sympathy. Hubert

My friend of 45 years, we met as neighbors and became best pals. We drank an ocean of coffee as we talked about everything and everyone. So many stories and laughs,.she was hilarious.
