Given Karen's zest for life and her thought and care for others, we searched for the right words to give you, knowing that she would undoubtedly want you to remember her with love, affection and a smile on your face. That will be hard to do now but she will always be with you, no matter where you are or the road you choose. She was a special lady and her star will always shine bright. And that is what she was and will remain - a star. So, we have chosen this poem to remember her by and hopefully it will offer you some comfort too in these difficult times.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

So sorry to hear of Karen's passing. Condolences to John, her children and extended family. I have many fond and fun memories of Karen from our days in St. Louis Convent and Dundalk RTC. Rest in Peace Karen.

Watching Karen's Mass just now, I'm reminded that beauty exists everywhere, we just have to look. I wish I had met Karen as she certainly was an amazing person, wasn't she?
