I was so sad to hear the news of Karen's passing. My deepest condolences to Jack, you were her world. And she was so proud of you always. May she rest in peace

We are so sad to hear of Karens passing. We were all very fond of her here and loved our chats with her when she came in. She was always so proud of her son Jack and spoke so highly about him. We are thinking of you Jack at this difficult time. May she rest in peace

I met Karen while working in a charity shop in Dun laoghaire, we got on straight away, also we had friends in common, and many stories to share. Afterwards I loved bumping into her in the streets, she always had the best smile and so much warmth. I will miss and remember her, I always did after moving away. My deepest condolences to her family and Jack, whom she talked a lot about, as a loving mother would do. Rest in peace dear friend.

A dear friend (from childhood), gone too soon. Sincere condolences to Jack, Carole, Runa, Rod and the extended family. Karen brought such a vibrancy to all she was around. I loved her sense of style and that cracking sense of humour!
She was immensely proud of Jack and he featured in every conversation we shared.

So very sad to hear of your passing Karen. We had so many great days in Buckley's where you would stop me buying stuff I didn't need. J and I loved our chats in the charity shops and in Dunlaoghaire. Always fun to bump into Karen when I was in dun laoghaoire, I'm sure she'll be hugely missed.

I will remember Karen as a happy, fun loving person, who looked after our children so well, and l always loved bumping into her.

Gutted. Sorry im not there to celebrate her vibrant life in memories with you all today. What a fabulous human she was and will remain for us all. A rare creature she was and i feel privileged to have shared some time with her. Best one for all the local gossip and news. Wheres the the mural/bench/plaque going so we can still have the chats???

My deepest condolences to Karen's loved ones, particularly Jack. Karen was my babysitter in the 90s. I remember her cosy home and her two lovely cats. I remember her warmth and her amazing laugh. Truly, some of my favourite memories as a child are with her.

I was so very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. We enjoyed many a "set the world to rights" conversations when we bumped into each other on weekly lunchtime visits to Sue Ryder and Vision Ireland Charity Shops in Blackrock. She was immensely proud of her son Jack and especially thinking of you over the coming days. Rest in Peace Karen, A Lady.

I have such fond memories of Karen, i always looked forward to her chats in Tesco, i worked there for over ten years. We stayed in contact since i left ten years ago, I would have bumped into her randomly on every occasion when i happened to just be visiting and it was always a pleasure. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She was so proud of her son Jack and everything he's done. Karen you will be missed so much. My condolences to Jack and the rest of the family and all of karens closest friends. One of the kindest people i had the pleasure of knowing.

Like most people I was shocked to hear of Karen’s far too early death. She was a loyal friend with her lovely kind & chatty personality.
Jack was her North, South, East & West. She was hugely proud of him.
I will miss seeing her around Dun Laoghaire where she seemed to know every second person.
