To Clare, Catherine and Sean l am so sad to hear your mother has passed onto a new life. I worked with Karen in DFEI , as it is known now. She was an inspirational teacher and an excellent Head of the Repeat Leaving Cert course. She was unfailingly friendly, helpful and good humoured. Karen you have left this earth much too soon but your bright and shiny spirit will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of Karen’s passing.
I remember her with love and nostalgia,We were at Clochar Lughaidh ‘64-‘69. How young and naive we were! Karen was very musical - loved singing and dancing. She also played piano, guitar and harp and was a keen musician.
