My deepest condolences are with Karen's family at this heartbreaking time. I didn't know Karen well but what I did know was that she was extremely loved. I know that Jason, Pippa and Lucy absoloutely idolised her. Every day when I had Lucy in 6th class, Lucy would make sure to give her auntie Karen a hug before she left the school. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Karen's family and friends, especially with Jason. I am sure Karen will be looking down on everyone and will giving them strength to get through these difficult days. Rest in peace Karen and may your wings spread and protect your loved ones.

I was so shocked and saddened at the unexpected passing of Karen. I was so very fortune to meet Karen in Colaiste Dhulaigh, her kindness and warm heart were evident from day one. Karen and Rachel took me under their wing and I became the third wheel on their car journeys to college, to Sheriff St youthclub, our sneaky subways/flaming river and endless nights out. She welcomed me into her home with open arms and we have lots of precious memories that I will cherish forever. My thoughts and prayers are with Rachel, Jason, Daryl and all of Karen's extended family. Ar dheis Ďe go raibh a hanam.
