Katie and grandson Vincent; also deepest condolences to immediate and extended family circle. Hadn't the privilege of meeting Katie and Vincent, however, reading the many tributes showed the magnificent and amazing human being your daughter was. May Katie and Vincent's beautiful smiles comfort and inspire you, Vincent's father Tom, the extended family at this difficult time.

I am deeply saddened by such tragic news. To Tom, unfortunately I did not meet Kate, but I have read a sample of the glowing tributes to her posted here. What an incredible lady. I totally sympathize with you and the loss of dear Kate and your adorable son Vincent.

I'm absolutely sure there will be no other woman to match Kate in her enthusiasm and zest for life.
We met some 16 years ago on our first day of our time working together in Avoca.
The years of laughter, crazy humour and escapades together kept on coming, wherever she went so did the fun.
We will always have super special memories of the lovely food she made for us, from her great way of wearing her clothes( shoes too, red, green, blue any variety, style and shape) to her beloved ring bearing grooms hounds at her wedding!! The infectious laugh that preceded her arrival and lingered long after she left.. We can thankfully still hear her now "milk, made from rice" her love of Katherine Tate was a shared long running thing between us, guaranteed to have us in a breathless heap on every occasion it was uttered..
The years we continued our friendship were always punctuated with her crazy voicenotes, meals out, lunches grabbed in between dog duties and general mayhem.
We can only imagine the vast Kate and Vincent sized hole left in everyone's life when they unexpectedly left our world. We are the poorer for it and wish her Dad,Niamh her nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles, Tom and her many many friends, in fact all those who were touched by her kindness and compassion only love and good thoughts, fond memories too at this time of great loss and sadness.

My deepest condolences to all Kate and Vincent's family, I first met Kate through pottery classes and then later in Blanchardstown SC. When ever we met she was always such fun and always full of chat. RIP Kate and Vincent.

I met Kate a few times walking and my dog was getting aggressive but when she was there he was fine so I asked her for number fir help and she didn’t know me but she always left long voice notes when I panicked and he got bad. Nobody ever been so nice to me and so caring too. I wanted to send flowers at Christmas but she said no give the money to dog rescues. I have Kates lovely voice notes and listen thinking I will try be the same lovely person how Kate was to me. So sad her family and friends and for Vincent’s family losing a special person like Kate 🥲 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

May the purest spirits of Kate and her dote Vincent fly high forever on the incomparable earthly love they blossomed while among us and that’s now being sent to them from all of us so deeply touched by their blessings here, as they make their gentle transition from this world.

We were neighbours of Kate for many years in Beechfield Court. We remember her smile, her love of her dogs, her warm, friendly greeting and sincere conversation. We had to privilege to first meet Kate through the sighthound social club when we first rescued our lurcher in 2014, and met up for walks and grooming over the years. She exuded sunshine inside and out, never too busy to help and advise us with our hounds, an absolute gem of a person with a huge heart.
Your legacy lives on in the hundreds of lives, human and canines, forever impacted by your wonderful heart.
Your tragic losses are overwhelming, thinking of all those who were close to her carrying such grief.

But above all she was full of love & compassion. She never left anyone 2 or 4 legged in need. If she couldn't help directly she found someone who could. She went above & beyond for so many. I never met baby Vincent but I hear from friends he was a beautiful bubbly wee boy who was utterly adored by Kate. I dont know how you will ever recover from this loss. But know that Kate was loved, admired, respected & regarded by so so many people in Ireland & beyond - not to mention the legion of hounds & mutts she saved, fostered, adopted, cared for & groomed. We met through the love of dogs and it was like we had known each other for years..you were so warm and kind and our friendship was sealed when I heard that contagious laugh..you were an incredible lady with a heart of gold..you gave your time in abundance and had your nail clippers in your pocket everywhere you went..you were so overjoyed when you were pregnant with Vincent and when he was born he lit up your world...devastated and so sad that you are no longer with us..condolences to your

I first met Kate through her love of sighthounds. She was one of those people who you instantly found to be kind, warm, sincere and genuine. Over the years Kate was fun and energising to be around, her beautiful smile and laugh were infectious.
