I am so sorry to hear of Kate’s passing. My heartfelt condolences go to her family.
We got to know Kate and her many talents when all of my now adult children participated in Young Irish Film Makers. Kate was the person who kept everything together in YIFM at that time. The young people were so comfortable in her calm, good humoured presence.
Her creative talent for putting together and adapting costumes (under pressure) was second to none.
I have often thought of her with a smile, since those days long gone.
