I worked with Katherine in Plessey Swords during the 70s and 80s. Had some lovely meals in her house in Ballymadrough. She had a lovely garden. She was really generous and kind and a great friend to me. Always had great sense of humour. Always value my times with her

If this is the Katherine McCabe who worked in Plessey in Swords many years ago then I was her friend. She let me drive her green volkswagen and I visited her lovely home many time. Rest in peace Katherine, I am honoured to have been your friend.

My sincerest condolences on the demise of Kitty .She was fondly spoken about to me over the years by those close to her!May those who have gone before her in her family welcome her with open arms !.May she rest in peace.

The loss of a loved one at any time is a very sad occasion for family and friends.

It was with sadness that we learnt of Kitty's passing into eternal life. She was an amazing friend and neighbour and much more. A stockman when we had our flock of sheep always on call to give a helping hand particularly at lambing time. A herds person when we had our ponies always there to supervise a mare at foaling. A keen gardener with a special interest in shrubs and flowers and freely gave advice as we established our new home beside her at Ballymadrough. She has been missed in the area on many occasions over the past number of years. Our condolences to all her relatives.

To my dearest kitty. It was my pleasure to have taken care of you over the last 6+ years at Cara. Over that time we formed a wonderful friendship and I thoroughly enjoyed all our chats, especially on your appointment visits to the hospital as I had the pleasure to escort you there. Was glad to be with you on Monday kitty and with your touch on my hand and slight smile as I was saying the prayers and rosary, I knew you were leaving us. So glad I was asked to attend you for this, as I will never forget you Kitty. May God give you that crown you truly deserve and may you rest in peace reunited with your good friend, Peggy o Donnell. I was very sorry to hear of Kitty's passing. She was a great friend to my Grandmother and Mother in Ballymadrough. I remember Kitty with great fondness.
