So sad to loose such a wonderful person as Katherine. Our condolences to her siblings, nieces and nephews she loved so much. She gave her all in everything she did in life. Personally, I was so grateful for the practical support she gave to me when I was Lady Captain of Castlewarden in 2019 and she herself filled the role wonderfully in 2024. So sad to hear of the passing of Katherine. She visited us in Sligo on a regular basis on behalf of ACCA and the staff and students here all loved her and appreciated her advice. She always spoke fondly of her family and in particular her nieces and nephews. She was a true lady.

I’m so deeply saddened to hear of Katherine’s passing. I have so many fond memories of playing cricket with her and annoying her as she was doing to scorebook for numerous teams! She was a true club woman and such great fun.
In the 90s when Boyzone where the coolest thing since sliced bread she acquired two tickets from a work colleague and brought me along to the Point. A memory that I will have with her forever.

I am very sad at Katherine's passing. I got to know Katherine in 2000 when she came to work in ACCA. We got on straight away and she was a great colleague and more importantly a lovely friend.

Katherine was very proud of her family and all they achieved. She had amazing stamina and put me to shame with the many sports she was active in and excelled in.

It's a testament to how fond the ACCA staff were of Katherine that we happily attended her Lady Captain dinners to support her and to see her succeed.

I am very grateful that I got to spend time with Katherine a few weeks ago and we talked about family and that was what brought Katherine so much joy.
