We offer our heartfelt sincerest deepest condolences to Rachel, Leonie Deborah, their families and the Duffy family on the loss to everyone of a very special person our dearest friend.
This photograph cleverly chosen, of Kathleen encapsulates her essence, her style, beauty, laughing eyes, sense of humour, the first person she laughed at was herself, then she rolled up her sleeves and got on with the job in hand, intelligently and pragmatically facing all the challenges that life dumped on her.
She literally got in behind the mixer and with her own family’s help completed an unfinished house she hadn’t wanted, turning it into a family home for herself and her three daughters who are in her image. No matter what problems she faced be it health, domestic or financial she never gave up and just got on with it. A lioness with her three precious cubs who have repaid her in spades by their love, loyalty, ability, grandchildren and achievements, she was a star, she was unique.
We always felt richer after spending time with her especially last week in the hospice. She offered so much and asked so little.
Because Kathleen‘s faith was so strong, she is now enjoying her richly earned reward, laughing.
May her gentle, generous soul rest in peace. RIP.
We will miss her. The world is a poorer place without her.

But it was also your mom, who undoubtedly gave me the courage, confidence, and wisdom during those years, to spread my wings and make the most of life ahead, for which I am eternally grateful to her.
