Deepest sympathy to all of Kathleen's family. I got to know and chat regularly with Kathleen on my visits to St Anthony's. She was a most caring, kind and generous lady, taking new residents under her wing. She was a great support to my mother when she went to St Anthony's and Kathleen was like a counsellor to her always looking out for her. My mother always referred to her as "as my friend Kathleen " Kathleen loved
everyone and everyone loved her. She loved her music and to talk about it. Our Comhaltas branch put on a big concert for all the residents on St Patrick's weekend just gone. Kathleen was thrilled to hear all the popular trad music which she loved down the years.
I will miss her friendly wave and chat on my visits as will my mother most especially who was so fond of her.
