Kathleen Byrne

It was such an honour to meet and care for Kathleen over the past six months. She was such a gentle soul who was so thankful to have many friends and neighbors' who watched out for her, particularly Margaret and Tom.
I hope heaven has a garden for you to enjoy.
Time brings smiles, tears and memories. The smiles fade, the tears dry up, but the memories last forever.

Kathleen was always such a lovely friendly neighbour growing up and still so lovely to my children in recent years whenever they came to visit her cottage. A Raheny legend who will be missed. May she rest in peace.

We were all so sorry to hear about the passing of Kathleen.She was a lovely neighbour who always had a great sense of humour full of laughter & always had a story or more to tell.She was an integral part of the Horan family when we were all growing up in Fox's Lane & in time got to know the next generation of the Horan clan .Her friendship with our parents Margaret and Bert will never be forgotten. I enjoyed some wonderful Christmases with Kathleen in Clontarf and visits to her home in Raheny. She was great company, full of fun, and loved by us all. She had a wonderful faith and a great love for her friends and neighbours. It was a privilege to have known Kathleen. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to all of Kathleen's family, friends and neighbours on her passing. As a resident of Fox's Lane for over 30 years, I was lucky to spend my childhood and later years walking by her lovely cottage every day and couldn't help but smile when I would see her busily working away on her beautiful garden. Its truly the end of an era for the residents of Foxs Lane who will miss her dearly.

I was so so sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing. She was truly a unique person, a real character. Sincere condolences to Tom and Margaret and all her wonderful neighbour's and friends who cared for her over the years. Raheny won't be the same without her. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Kathleen has been our neighbour for over fifty years and we will miss her kind , gentle and loving nature . It truly is the end of an era . May she Rest in Peace and pain free with all those she has loved .

We were so sorry to hear that Kathleen passed away. We used to love chatting to her either inside her most beautiful home or in the garden she loved so much. She was a lovely lady and had a wonderful sense of humour. She will be sadly missed.

It was a pleasure to have known Kathleen in recent years, she had a great sense of humour and my aunt margaret and her would spend lots of time on the phone putting the world to rights and sharing all the local news- she will be missed.
