Deepest condolences to the Byrne family on the passing of Kathleen a beautiful kind lady! I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing today. I had the pleasure of knowing her from St Colmcilles years ago and in later years she became a very lovely customer of mine, always thinking of others and requesting special things to be made for her family and friends.

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Kay. To Alanna and family, Kay was a superb person. I really enjoyed her company and her great wit. She made a tough day brighter with her kind words. She was a true lady and i will remember her with great fondness. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

She ensured every school day was filled with laughter and fun. I have the best memories of our time working together, especially last year. Kay’s loving, warm and caring nature touched the hearts of all of the children in her care. I will miss her so very much.
