I was very sad to hear of Kathleen's passing. I have many happy memories of going to the field in Patrick St with Nixie to get the cows when we were kids and taking them up to Rope Walk to get milked. I think we were more of a hindrance than a help but Nixie was always in good form. I showed my daughters the stone steps outside Callan's front door in Rope Walk when we were home from Australia in July and explained why they were there for the milk.

The Callans were always great friends of the Murrays.

My condolences to all of the family.
