It was with real sadness that I learned today of Kathleen's death, may she rest in peace. Over the last few years Kathleen kept me informed of events relating to the War of Independence.

It was with great sadness we heard of Kathleen's tragic passing. Our heartfelt condolences to the Cleary and Allis families. Kathleen worked tirelessly to ensure that Tipperary's heros from the War of Independence era would never be forgotten. Kathleen travelled to Dublin when the Third Tipperary Brigade Old IRA Commemoration Committee were given a civic reception in January 2019, on the 100th anniversary of Solagheadbeg, by Lord Mayor Nial Ring in the Mansion House, and Kathleen also helped organise the War of Indelpendence concert by Derek Warfield and the Young Wolf Tones the prior Saturday in the Bro Boru in Cashel.
