To Peadar, Stephen, Terry, Colin, Fiona and the McCann family. There are no words to convey the extent of our sadness at this news. Our aunt Kathleen lived a fulfilled life of love and happiness. She was a go to person (as you were Peadar) as I came on visits to Wexford from Sligo at a tender age. I (we) will never forget the support and love you both showed to us and especially when my Mother (Bernadette) moved back to Wexford from Sligo in the late 70's to Skeffington street.

Aunt Kathleen will be deeply missed by us all. At this time it seems so unfair that she has passed at a time when all the Dempseys are flying in their lives and careers. She lived her life up to the last moment which is a comfort of sorts.

Our last memory of her is one of joy and devilment as we had dinner in our house in St Helens Bay a few months ago. She was so relaxed and happy as you were Peadar. Things can change so fast so we all need to enjoy the NOW.

A mothers love is a blessing and Kathleen was a great mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be remembered in ours and in many peoples hearts. May she enjoy the fruits of her life on earth and rejoin those who have gone before her. May you Peadar and extended family get the strength to carry on in her memory and may she Rest In Peace.
