Very sad to hear about the passing of much-loved Kathleen. She was a very kind lady and a great friend to our mother Jean for many years, not least when Jean was very ill in 2011-2012.

As children in the 1980s and 90s, Kathleen’s household was always fun and welcoming. During Ireland’s toughest decades, Kathleen and Michael were brilliant for their hard work and commitment, which enabled them to successfully raise a large family and build a fine home. Kathleen’s sharp wit and warmheartedness made her great company and a welcome guest wherever she went.

Condolences to Michael, Michael Jnr, Marie, Mark, Theresa, Des, Elaine, her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, large group of friends, and her entire neighbouring community. Sorry I could not make it home this time, but hopefully we can catch up in due course.
