Sincere sympathy to Kate s family on her death. She was an amazing lady , full of fun , extremely warmhearted , generous - always ready to help people and managed to enjoy life to the full. Kate always had the best side out right through her illness and never complained. She did trojan work in Blackrock bridge club over the years - organising our annual trips and always managed to get a good deal with the hotels - a great lady to strike a bargain. Charlie and herself were a wonderful team together and she spoke always with such love for him , her boys grandchildren , her sister Eilish and extended family. Kate loved a game of bridge and enjoyed the game enormously whether she won or had a bad game! She brought great joy and kindness to many people s lives and had time for everyone ! May she rest in peace!

As a classmate from school, I am so sorry to read of Kate's death today. We "soldiered" together in Bunclody and she and I organised the 50th anniversary of leaving school. Kathleen, as she was to me , was great and I know she was in organising Bridge holidays too. May she rest in Peace. I will be thinking of you.
