I will never forget how welcome she would always make me feel when I popped in to see her over the years (always with a reminder that I knew where the cups were if I wanted some tea or coffee). When people ask me what kind of teacher I wanted to be it was always..to be like Mrs Feehan. I’ve such fond memories of her classroom…not to mention making my mother buy me Chipstix cause they were Mrs Feehan’s favourite… many an evening having a good old chat with her as she sold raffle tickets for TMS productions… not to mention the occasional catch up chat at Dwyer’s Centra. Thurles has lost one of its greats, deepest sympathy to her family, Breda, Sarah and Anna.. sending you lots of love. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam…

A bright star has gone out in Thurles. Kathleen had her own unique sense of fun, that wonderful Moloney wit, great intelligence and musicality, and she radiated love and kindness in everything she did.

An amazing Mother, a wonderful Múinteoir, and a lifelong friend to my mother Mary. We were blessed to have her touch our lives, and she will be so deeply missed.

So sorry for your loss. Kathleen was a lovely woman, a pure Mammy. Gas craic, kind and full of divilment. Plenty of fond memories of when we were younger with Anna having a good laugh with her.
