My sincere condolences to Kathryn's family. I briefly got to know Kathryn while I was visiting my father who was in the same ward as Kathryn at the end of last year. It was a chance meeting but she was such a lovely lady that I have thought about her since and am deeply saddened to learn of her passing. May she rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened by the passing of Kathryn. Working alongside her in the RTB was truly a privilege—her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Kathryn's door was always open, and no query or issue was ever too difficult for her to solve. Kathryn will be deeply missed. Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear this sad news for your closest. To Kathryns family I say, in circumstances where I should have been fired (mere days into my first real job) Kathryn gave me a 2nd+ chance in what became a very grounding 6 years after prior turbulence.
20 years later she helped me (when I had long since had no contact with her) & my child required expensive and life saving medical care abroad. Kathryn also sent me messages of support.

Back in the days I observed her genius was equal to her kindness.
She was a great boss.

To her grandchildren I convey my sympathy because I can imagine what a brilliant Grandmother Kathryn was.
Her spirit is with yee.

I worked with Kathryn for many years in the PRTB. She was a source of inspiration and a great mentor in instilling in many of us what it meant to be a public servant. But her greatest gift was her empathy. I will never forget her kindness when I had a serious illness.
