What a privilege it was to know Kay! Her upbeat attitude was such a help..as was her too frequent "pull" with the boys when we ran out of oil in Glenard..always in the coldest months and with a full house!! A big hug...

Very fond memories indeed of Kay particularly from my childhood whether it was in Newlands, Courtown or closer to home but also in more recent years as she attended our kids christening's and other events.
Remembered as effervescent & vivacious, Kay was a true lady. Her bright smile & great humour was ever present and will be sadly missed.
On behalf of my mum, Anne wished to express her sincere sorrow & sympathy to all the Kiernan's at this time. Kay was one of her oldest and closest pals and is held in very deep affection. Despite mum's sense of loss and sadness, she takes great comfort in the enormous faith that Kay possessed, the wonderful long life she enjoyed and the terrific family that she & Gerry raised. She said she was privileged to call Kay a friend.
On behalf of the wider Sharpe family, we offer you our thoughts and prayers and while Kay's passing is undoubtedly sad, we hope you can also celebrate a life well lived and a love well shared with those all around her but none more so than with her family.
