To Brian and all the Leddin families my sincere sympathy on your Mother’s sad passing. I was in the USA at the time of her demise. It was with dismay on my return that I learned of her passing, a formidable lady , she will be missed in political circles in Limerick which she served with distinction. She is now reunited with her beloved Tim. May she rest in peace

Kathleen was such a dedicated public representative who was always so supportive to An Garda Síochána in responding to the needs of the community and keeping people safe. Very fond memories of many conversations with her around the North Circular Road, wider area and at local events. Thanks for sharing her with us. My apologies I could not sympathise with ye in person during the funeral. I am thinking of ye at this difficult time and will always remember her. May Kathleen rest in peace.

Kathleen was a powerhouse of a woman. She waa a master storyteller and shape-shifter, adapting to all the different and interesting situations she sought out, and found herself in. It will come, as no suprise, she waa a great friend to both my Mam and then my younger brother Pearse. Kathleen's life was a life fully lived.

Kathleen was a most valued and committed member of the Board of Management of Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh - a Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board Community College. I have very fond memories of Kathleen's participation and contribution to the school's development.

Above all, she was incredibly kind to all. She had a deep humanity & intellect. I am saddened to hear of her passing, but grateful knowing her contribution to Limerick and to know of her courage.
