Mass today which was very
moving.
I telephoned her last Monday
but didn’t get her. We kept in touch now and again, and I’ll miss our chats.

What a lovely, kind and thoughtful lady she was! When I last met her, just a few short weeks ago, little did I think she would pass away so soon after.

I feel very grateful that I got to visit with Kathleen a few times last month when I was home. We had a lot of laughs, her famous Christmas cake to munch on and wonderful chats about numerous things. Kathleen has been a "member of our family" since I can hardly remember. We all called her Auntie Kathleen. She was one of my mam's best friends. Kathleen was quite humorous and would have us in stitches whenever we visited each other, this was one of the many traits I loved about her. She would help anyone whenever she could. She was always a kind and sharing person and loved by many. I have been blessed to have known her. I will miss her on my future visits home but will remember her with great Love and Gratitude. Kathleen may you Rest in Peace with Paddy and bask in the Glory of God.

Emer I’m so sorry for your loss. Kathleen was a godsend to us when she looked after my mum following her stroke. She was so caring and selfless and great fun to be around. She was always talking about Paddy and the holidays in Wexford. We really couldn’t have coped without her. A wondering woman. May she rest in peace.
