We were so deeply saddened to hear of Kathleen’s passing. She was a wonderfully kind, caring, and loving auntie. Whenever she spoke with you, she made you feel as though you were the only person in the world. We take great comfort in thinking that she’s now reunited with Dessie, Jimmy, Michael, and Eileen, no longer suffering, and all sharing a laugh together in heaven.

Our last memory of Kathleen was from our wedding in Ireland many years ago, when the Lucan contingent joined us at Swan’s Pub in Curragha for the afters. She was such great company, so full of life and laughter, and it meant a lot to have that time with her. My wife Sarah was also very fond of her interactions with Kathleen, and we both watched the funeral online with heavy hearts.

To all of Kathleen’s family, especially her girls: please look after yourselves and one another. Be extra kind to yourselves during this time. We know how hard it is to lose someone so dear. We send you our love, prayers, and deepest sympathies from Australia.
