I was shocked to hear last night that Kay had passed away. I did not know she had been ill.
She was always kind and supportive to me during our years in Sigma and I know she will be sadly missed by friends and family. My deepest sympathy Maighread, Kealin and family.

A stunning beauty in her youth with that velvet black hair and vivid blue eyes. She became a woman we could all aspire to be. A woman of integrity and depth and strength. A beloved sister to her large family a dedicated mother to her daughters and a loving grandmother. She gave everyone the valuable gift of her time. A valued employee and friend . A gifted lady with her talent for knitting beautifully and dancing beautifully. Thank you for giving us all the gift of your beloved Donegal and enabling us all who fell in love with Kilcar to have so many happy memories of our times there. I heard with great sorrow of Kay’s death. She looked wonderful in her photo and exactly as I remembered her. At any time a loss of your Mum and wife is terrible but now when you cannot even share your grief with friends and family I am sure it is even worse. It only seems like yesterday that Kaye was with us in Sigma in Finglas and only last week I was mentioning and complimenting her for the records she kept. I will say a small prayer for her and wish all of her family my sincere condolences.
