Having attended her Requiem Mass today, beautifully celebrated by Fr Damien O'Mahony whose sister, Colette is a former pupil of CKSS/Kathleen's, and with so many CKSS colleagues and others present, I felt privileged to have been able to attend the Mass that celebrated the life of an inspirational and true educationalist
when ministering at St Mary's and CKSS. May you enjoy eternal peace, Kathleen.

I just saw on the death notices that Kathleen passed away on May 20th. I'm so saddened to see this news. Kathleen was a lovely girl when I grew up around the corner in Ballinlough. May her beautiful soul rest in peace. Sincere sympathy to her husband Ted and to all the Mulcahy family.

Kathleen made the world a better place by being in it
I got to know her more and more as the years rolled by. She totally respected the uniqueness of each individual.
She was a talented inspirational Art teacher.She never indulged in self praise... she didn't need to.
Of equal merit was Kathleen's support of those to whom life was not always kind. She was the soul of discretion. Through her work in that wonderful Seedlings Programme she gave so many the confidence and assurance they needed to take their rightful place in this challenging world.
Kathleen, you gave so much of your loving, generous heart to your beloved Ted, to your own Mulcahy family and to your many friends ... we can only say thank you.
You are now being rewarded in your forever home in Heaven.
