Sincere sympathy to the Dullea and Murphy families on the death of Kathleen. She was my first teacher in Togher Boys School many years ago and what an exceptional teacher she was. She inspired me to follow her into the teaching profession.

Kathleen was a most dedicated and hardworking teacher and vice-principal who ensured that the children of Togher received an outstanding education. She mentored young teachers in an exceptional way and Togher Boys’ School was known far and wide for the great education the pupils received there. She was an absolutely outstanding role model and had an incredible work ethic that was so appreciated by both the parents and staff in the school.

Kathleen’s legacy lives on today in the school where she is often remembered and quoted.
The beliefs and values held by Kathleen are evident in the corridors of the school : a mission of hard work and outstanding dedication to the boys in our care to ensure they excel in what they do just as she did in the past.

Kathleen richly deserved her long and happy retirement and will always be very fondly remembered in the Togher community.
