Dear Sheila and Barry.

Sharing sincere condolences with you on the passing of Sheila's mother.

You are such family-oriented people. Your lives revolve around family and friends.

You showed such kindness to me and my late husband Lawrence during his final illness. I will always remember your support.

I am sure that your mother was very proud of your concern for others whom you encountered.

May Kathleen have her deserved Rest in Peace.

You are both in our prayers.

Safe travels

Dear Sheila.

Sincere condolences on the loss of your mum. I remember your mum's shoulder surgery and all the planning involved. Reading through the messages, I now get a flavour of your relationship and understand why you were always so kind and considerate to all. The consultants who met her were in admiration of her intuition and knowledge on many subjects. Your mum was such a lady, so kind and gentle. Her understanding and sensitivity was appreciated by all the staff on the ward, in outpatients and ancillary staff.

To Sheila. Sending sincere condolences on the death of your beloved mother. So sorry to hear this news. Going back so many years, our friends always remember how you spoke so nicely about your mother. We all remember the nights out, especially around Christmas, but you said NO, I am going to Kildare to my mum. I know you will be very sad about her passing, but I know you have happy memories of good times in the past.

May Kathleen rest in Peace.

Dearest Sheila.

I know how your feeling as my mum has passed also. I remember meeting your mum and dad a few times at your house. We enjoyed the parties and the craic was good.

Don’t think of her as gone away –
her journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets –
this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost –
and she was loved so much.
Hi Barry & Sheila

We were really sorry to hear Sheila that your dearest Mum has left this world for a better place. We were aware that your mum was unwell. May she rest in peace now.
So sorry for your loss Sheila and Barry. Glad you got to spend time with your mum before she passed.

As the verse says - You can only have one mother,
Patient, kind and true,
No other friend in all the world,
Will be the same to you.
When other friends forsake you,
To mother you will return,
For all her loving kindness,
She asks nothing in return.
As we look upon her picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.
Sweet Jesus take this message,
To our dear mother up above,
Tell her how we miss her,
And give her all our love.
Ah Barry!

So sorry to hear that Sheila's Mom has passed. I am thinking of Sheila at this sad time. Her mum now rests peacefully. Glad you both got the chance to speak to her the day before she passed. Never easy losing a loved one.

Sheila, so glad that you got to spend time with your mother in September 2025, just before her passing.

Sheila and Barry. My deepest condolences Sheila to your loss. Take care and glad you are heading back to be with family.

I know from our chats that Kathleen suffered she told but few, and she certaintly did not deserve what she went through. God she was tired and weary she made no fuss,
But tried so hard to stay with us.

Two tired eyes are sleeping,
Two willing hands are still;
The one who worked so hard for us,
Is resting at God’s Will.

Our lips cannot speak how we loved her,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
But God only knows how we miss her,
In our home that is lonely still.
My deepest sympathy to Sheila on the death of her mother. Thinking of you at this sad time.

So sorry your mum has passed. As you walk your path in life, pray to her.
Hi Barry/Sheila,

Sheila, sorry to hear the news of your mother’s passing. My condolences and heartfelt sympathies to you both. Your circumstances reminded me of when my own father died and I was unable to travel home. Fortunately, at the time I was able to watch the memorial mass live remotely and my family sent me pictures and short videos of the gravesite prayers. At times like these we really feel like we live a little too far from home. I am sure you have many fond memories to recall and that these will give you ample solace. I pray that all will be well with you both.

Andrew Hanly
Sheila and Barry. So delighted to see you home again. So sad that you missed the funeral but so glad that you got to spent precious time with your mum on your last visit, just 2 days before she passed.

I remember your mum at your house on your party night.

Please don’t think of her as gone away, her journey’s has just begun.

May your mother Rest in Peace.

Donal Hegarty
We lost a mother with a heart of gold,
How much we miss her can never be told. She shared our troubles and helped us along, If we follow her footsteps we will never go wrong.
We miss you from our distant call and chat.

Your loving smile and gentle air,
She was a mother so very rare,

Content in her home and always there, on earth she toiled, in Heaven she rests, God bless you mother you were one of the best.

Each time we look at your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
Don’t be sad but courage take,
And love each other for my sake.

She never failed to do her best,
Her heart was true and tender,
We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore;
We did our duty to the end,
‘Til we could do no more.

In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away;
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.

You left behind some aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere;
We never shall and never will,
Forget you, mother dear.

What she suffered she told but few,
She did not deserve what she went through,

Tired and weary she made no fuss,
But tried so hard to stay with us.
Two tired eyes are sleeping,
Two willing hands are still;
The one who worked so hard for us,
Is resting at God’s Will.

Our lips cannot speak how we loved her,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
But God only knows how we miss her,
In our home that is lonely today.
