Kathleen O'Brien

So sad to realise that my mother's best friend and a great adviser to me has left us all. My heartfelt sympathies to her family.

So sad to hear of Kathleen's passing , sincere condolences to her family and friends. Kathleen was my mother's best friend. May she rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Kathleen's sister and extended family on the passing of Kathleen. My late mother (Carmel,nee Farnham) and Kathleen were former neighbours many years ago and remained friend's all their lives. May Kathleen Rest in Peace.

Kathleen and my Mum (Bridie Kavanagh) were best of friends for over 70 years, having worked together at the start of their working lives.

Mum always spoke very warmly about Kathleen, her generosity, sense of fun and independence. They always kept in contact despite living in different countries for many years showing a strong bond of friendship. When we visited Dublin a number of years ago, Kathleen and Mum met in Bewleys. I left them to catch up, when I returned after many hours they were still nattering and it was easy to imagine how they were when teenagers - no doubt upto mischief back then!

I kept in touch with Katheen during the last few years since my mothers passing. Kathleen clearly had many interests e.g. her art and was very upto date on current affairs.

She was always very complimentary of the care and love shown to her by her family and the lady who made home visits. Kathleen was a very caring person and will be sorely missed

Thoughts are with you all.
