Kathleen was a very gentle, kind lady and a lovely friend to my Mum Breda in recent years as they took their daily walk along Shannon Drive when they were both able to manage it. Personally, my memories of your Mum are of her walking to school in Parteen on a daily basis and always having a ready smile to greet passers-by. May she Rest in Peace.

She was a very lucky lady to have such a supportive family. I never met Ms O' Brien but having spoken to Anne about her numerous times I kind of feel like I do know her. As lucky as she was to have you all I know from Anne that you were very lucky to have her.
We also know the special relationship between a granny and the grandchildren. It is a wonderful thing that stays throughout your lives. I was lucky to have a long time with my Granma and Helen adored her Granda. As the years go by and despite their absence their presence and influence remains a guiding light for us..
We know these are not easy times and to lose a family member is so hard. I saw the funeral on the web and it was lovely. Anne, as someone who is always there to think of others and get things done, know that the same applies on this side.
