It’s still so hard to believe that she is no longer with us. I already miss her impromptu visits for coffee and a catch-up, sharing a laugh and the latest news.
The love and care she showed towards her grand-nephew Daniel, and myself, will never be forgotten. She was like another nanna to him, checking in, bringing gifts and plenty of cuddles, and even attended his preschool graduation when his grandparents couldn’t make it. All the little things that may not have seemed huge, meant the world to me, and she will forever be in my thoughts. A truly remarkable lady.
Rest in peace, dear Kathleen, and give Eugene a big hug from me and Daniel xox
