I knew Kathleen for almost 60 years when she first started teaching in Casleach N.S.She was a most wonderful friendly lady,always kind and caring.The children she taught loved her as she treated them with motherly love.She was away ahead of her times in her motivation ,encouragement and praise,rather than threats or corporal punishment

Mrs O’Shea was my Godmother and our visit to her house when I received my First Holy Communion was the most memorable day.
She was much loved by her pupils whom she taught in Killeenleigh school and was highly regarded by their parents. I will always be grateful to Mrs O’Shea for giving me a great start in primary school. An outstanding teacher and to this present day, her praises are sung and will always be fondly remembered.
May she Rest in Peace.
